Greenville,Al OLD SOUTHERN style wedding

This wedding was so much fun!! Elizabeth and Allen have great taste in food, drinks, and fashion!
Seersucker was the theme of this wedding attire from groomsmen to guests. Elizabeth wore her grandmothers wedding gown that she had redesigned and it was gorgeous ! Her bouquet was a huge magnolia bloom that fit the theme of her wedding.  The ceremony was held at 11am on the front porch of an old southern manision that belongs to the brides family and where the bride grew up. After the ceremony the reception began immediately in and around the grounds of the home. There were traditional southern cocktails, a bloody Mary bar stocked with every pickled item you can think of , & mimosas. Lunch was served buffet style which was beautiful and delicious. An awesome jazz band played on the front porch as the bride and groom danced. It was truly like stepping back in time and we loved every minute and every detail. THank YOU Elizabeth & Allen for choosing us to capture your special day.  CONGRATS love Rachel & Meredith

The Reserve at Oak Bowery Wedding of Kieth & Chelsea

The wedding venue was right out of a movie! (a photographers dream wedding!) It was a beautiful wedding with a beautiful bride and groom.  Chelsea and Kieth chose this venue together after attending a wedding at the the reserve. I told Chelsea if i could have a wedding redo this would be my choice ! It was amazing and Rachel and I were in shock for a good hour at how blessed we were to be able to shoot such a beautiful wedding. Rachel and I are history nerd junkies and couldnt get enough of the info on the plantation. Here is a link if you would like to learn more about it and if you want to book a wedding at this amazing wedding venue.
A little bit about The Reserve at Oak Bowery."This home has a very rich history in Chambers County. Known as the McCurdy Plantation, it once was central to a thriving cotton farm of 4000 acres, 150 slaves, and a large lot of stock all owned by Joseph McCurdy." http://oakboweryreserve.com/index.html

Kieth and Chelsea were married May 18, 2013 under the trees with candles hanging from them. You would have never known that hours before it was pouring down rain and looked really bad outside. It was a picture perfect evening with lots of dancing and celebrating. THank you Chelsea and Kieth for choosing us to capture every moment of your special day.
